Be Ready to Answer Camp-Specific Questions
After the training, staff may ask questions such as:
How does this apply to our camp specifically?
What are our expectations for staff language and behavior?
What do I do if a camper says something harmful?
What do I do if another staff member causes harm?
When do I correct something myself, and when do I bring in leadership?
How does this connect to our camp’s supervision, bullying, behavior management, or parent communication policies?
Leadership does not need to have every answer perfectly prepared. But staff should leave with:
clear expectations
a basic response path
knowledge of who to go to for support
confidence that this content matters at your camp in real, practical ways
