Be Ready to Answer Camp-Specific Questions

Be Ready to Answer Camp-Specific Questions

After the training, staff may ask questions such as:

  • How does this apply to our camp specifically?

  • What are our expectations for staff language and behavior?

  • What do I do if a camper says something harmful?

  • What do I do if another staff member causes harm?

  • When do I correct something myself, and when do I bring in leadership?

  • How does this connect to our camp’s supervision, bullying, behavior management, or parent communication policies?

Leadership does not need to have every answer perfectly prepared. But staff should leave with:

  • clear expectations

  • a basic response path

  • knowledge of who to go to for support

  • confidence that this content matters at your camp in real, practical ways
